Our Story

Founded in 2023, NATCO Utility LLC is the result of more than 10 years of hard-earned experience in the utility infrastructure industry. Our founder, Oscar Munoz, began in 2012 as a helper for another company. His work ethic, skill, and leadership quickly set him apart — so much so that client supervisors often sought his guidance directly.

In time, a supervisor encouraged Oscar to run his own crew to meet the growing demand for quality utility work. Partnering briefly with another contractor, Oscar effectively took on ownership responsibilities from the start. When the partnership ended, he established Munoz Construction with just three employees.

That small crew grew into a large-scale operation, working across the U.S., with a diverse fleet of equipment and a skilled network of employees and subcontractors. As client requirements expanded, so did the company’s capabilities. Recognizing the need for greater infrastructure, personnel, and administrative support, Oscar incorporated NATCO Utility LLC in 2023 under Texas law, forming a Board of Directors and appointing a President to oversee contracts and administration while he continues to lead field operations.
